Garden of earthly delight

Throughout history, the sense of beauty has been overturned many a times according to what happened in that period in time, to now. Now, beauty is a urinal, soup can, even a blank canvas. It's whatever the artist deems to be beautiful.

Beauty is a sense of awe that you encounter when you see it or feel it. That awe is an experience that inspires you. You don’t get awed by blossoming rose anymore because you’ve seen it many times before. Beauty is beyond familiarity; it genuinely has to be a new experience. Like standing in front of Grand Canyon for the first time and seeing its grandeur. You gasp at the sheer size and the beauty. All of your thoughts become miniscule to how you feel at that moment. How you become so small in that vastness.

Beauty is not something to be argued about because it would only end when the civilization ends. And because it differs from person to person.

For me, I try to convey beauty in my art my own way on the level of awe. But an artist creates, doesn't know how to edit his own work. They are all beautiful to me because I have created. It's a tunnel vision of thoughts of my own not someone else’s. I do not know if my work is awe-inspiring to others, I hope so, but hope is just another word for wishful thinking. It’s a gigantic task for a single man to tackle. Awe.

To experience an awe is a truly special moment, which is to say seeing beauty is awesome. If a gorgeous woman is in front of you, you would be in awe, that’s beauty! You can not say anything of importance in front of beauty. Your mouth opens up gasping for breath.

Oh, how I wish to produce such work of beauty!
