More I get to know about AI, less enthusiastic I get. It's very knowledgeable and appears smart, but there's something missing. I assume it's the humanness. It's basically a database of all that is written and spoken by people. The people who are behind AI say that it can learn by itself from that data to think like a human. Really?
How is the question they are working on.
People behind the AI movement are true liberals. Thinking outside of the box, what's next for humankind. Personally, I think they are in it for the control. They all have enough money for many life times, so what is there for them to do? With the money they have, they can do anything they want! Their thoughts lead to control and ego games. They are humans too, after all.
Human mind is funny thing. It forever expands. Its elasticity seems boundless. But like a rubber band, it retracts, ultimately. Like the only truth in the world, we all die.
Sure, the idea lives on after that person dies, but the idea mutates to another form changing the original idea. We just forever change!
Nature changes because of what humans do it now days, but in a much, much slower pace. Something to rely on, nature. Nature doesn't know how to lie. It has a cycle and it's true to it, nature. Humans will be gone, but nature will just be on a new cycle.
For over 10 years, I've lived in the same house just thinking. Out of the generosity of affluent ancestors, disconnected from the real world in Laos, only connection being a computer with a WIFI. I just observed as the world changed.
People come and go; they all have their agendas and a way of living. Some detesting, some loving, some. . ..
When you let yourself be with nature, you understand what the Buddhas of the past was trying to say without trying so hard to comprehend. Your perspective changes inward in a calm way.
You will understand the importance of your being in the chaos of this thing called, Life. You need to disconnect from your reality time to time to see the true reality. It's an adventure into something that you thought you knew, but you knew nothing of. Yourself.
