Politics of self

In real-world politics, betrayal is necessary to succeed. The person you supported becomes the enemy. A friend becomes an enemy. That is politics. To survive, you must kill. It is a dirty world. But if you succeed, the world is at your feet. If you truly achieve massive success, your name will go down in the history books.

When I was young and naive, I didn't understand politicians. I only cursed them. Then, a friend of my older brother started defending them, saying that politicians put their lives on the line to do their jobs. 'Really?' I muttered to myself, unable to comprehend the weight of the knowledge he possessed.

Even now, having grown older and somewhat wiser, I still curse them. They are not there to sacrifice themselves for others, but solely for their own personal fame and wealth. They are merely playing a life-or-death game to grasp power. The only thing written in their job description is 'maintain power.' Once they get a taste of that seductive power, they cannot escape it. They only end up wanting more. You are now trapped in the 'Twilight Zone.'

Living life itself is politics. Every time you step out, you must wear a mask; you must act kindly even to people you dislike; and you must show courtesy to people you couldn't care less about, just to prevent them from talking behind your back. Great politicians do exactly that remarkably well.

I like Trump because he is not a politician; he is a businessman and the CEO of America. No one knows what he is thinking. If you knew the process of how he got to where he is, your mind would have a hard time grasping the sheer weight of it. There is even a term for it now: TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome). People simply enjoy hating a successful man, and it has become a disease. And he pisses off the so-called 'Educated' while talking like an ordinary guy you might see at a local neighborhood bar. He barely sleeps, yet he sees right through every situation. He is almost 80 years old!!!! Even a much younger person like me avoids going to the US because flying is sheer agony, yet he constantly crisscrosses the continent on Air Force One, churning out interviews! On top of that, he has survived three assassination attempts.

He constantly repeats the same things until you eventually accept them as the truth. He seems to know that repetition is the core of marketing. He overcomes and suppresses even the feeling of growing old. He is perfectly aware of what he is saying.

I dare not even imagine the kinds of thoughts he has to process every day. Just right now, there's Iran and oil prices, the China issue, calling Xi Jinping a great leader and a good friend while simultaneously cutting off their energy resources, backstabbing allies, Democrats barking round the clock, and so much more! Of course, he has a cabinet to do the brainwork for him, but the final decision is his to make. Meanwhile, I can't even decide what to eat today.

The United States has transformed from the neighborhood punching bag everyone used to kick around, into the one doing the kicking. All nations, especially dictators, are trembling in fear at the thought that they might be the next ones to get kicked by the US. All of this is thanks to Trump. He changed the game.

When I open my eyes in the morning, I usually start my day by watching Trump and listening to his words. He is an incredible motivator. He will be remembered as the greatest president in history. The so-called GOAT (Greatest of All Time).

History will tell. How stupidity once ruled America, and how Trump appeared and made common sense the top priority for Americans.

In my life, within my own politics, I simply try to remain myself. Just as a passing traveler in this game called life.
