Story 1.
"Mom, I want to eat that pastry!"
"Sure, then I have to buy it for you, if my baby wants it~~~!"
Story 2
"Mom, I want to eat those snacks!"
"If you eat too many sweets, your teeth will rot!"
Story 3
"Mom, I want to eat ice cream!"
"Buy it yourself!"
A child's wish is simple: what I want right now. Whether that wish comes true or not depends on the child's guardian. Usually, that person is the mother. Depending on the mother's character, children grow up and enter society. How they were raised and what kind of DNA they carry determines that child's future.
Well, there are hundreds of millions of combinations, but since we love categorizing things, let me speak generally.
The child in Story 1 will surely have a miserable old age. When others have given you everything you wanted your whole life, with what strength will you survive alone?
The child in Story 2 will grow up indecisive. Wanting to eat it, but afraid their teeth will go bad, so they can't—unable to make a clear-cut decision.
The child in Story 3 will become someone calculating who earns a lot of money. The concept of money was hammered into them as education from a young age, and that will stay with them for life.
So, what kind of mother do you want to be? Live your whole life protecting your child because they are your baby? Raise a child who can't do this or that, or turn them into a rich person?
Anyone's answer would be to make them rich. But are things in this world really that easy?!?
Just as a river never flows easily, our lives do not flow easily either. Not for anyone.
If you have money, you have problems because of it; if you don't, problems arise because you lack it.
Once you step out into society, you stand on your own. It is a school that isn't a school, where you clearly learn who you are. Your report card comes back based on how you were taught as a child—expressed directly in money.
As money accumulates, your choices multiply.
If you don't have money, you have to live as a slave.
Yet having a lot of money doesn't make you happy. Things like competition, jealousy, greed, and suspicion follow you around and torment you.
If you don't have it, life is just hard. When you try to make up for it with hard labor, time—your age—holds you back.
What kind of child do you want to raise?
This is a point that requires immense wisdom and patience. Each person carries different DNA, so even if they came out of my belly, they are a system I cannot control. In society, rich people get treated well, so at least instill an education about money until they leave your side. After that, it's up to the child.
Once you are freed from 22 years of educational responsibility, just live the life you want to live. Tell yourself you did a good job, and simply hope the seeds you sowed grow well...
Now, it's time to find myself.
