Drawing with Light

We are living in the year 2026.

Art began with human nature. Then humanity wanted to replicate what it saw. And then photography emerged.

After photography came an individualism where a single brushstroke dictated everything, and alongside technological advancement, photography transformed into AI.

Where do we go now? What else is left to replicate as art?

Our day consists of 24 hours, and light exists for half of them. That is the very 'essence' of photography. We created artificial light. Using light like brushstrokes. Drawing with light—that is the definition of photography.

Light casts shadows and creates three-dimensionality. Diffused light creates softer shadows, while light beating down from above creates none. Ancient Eastern paintings have no shadows, which comes down to a difference in perception.

Having trained in Western art, the absence of shadows looks unrealistic to me, but nevertheless, an artistic character exists there.

In art, to find meaning, one must analyze and dissect everything down to the bone. And once someone influential proves that meaning, everyone else jumps on the bandwagon. It becomes accepted as 'truth.'

Throughout history, and even beyond it, it has always been the achievement of one man or one woman. One person's thought becomes everyone else's thought. Think of any significant figure. Edison, who discovered electricity—without him, the entire world wouldn't exist as it does today. He, too, was just an individual like you or me. The only difference was the destiny manifested in his soul. Not everyone is created equal, as people like to believe. Everyone has their own destiny: some are destined for glory, while others are just ordinary Joes and Marys.

Why did Elon Musk become the first trillionaire? Because he doesn't think conventionally! Could you, living with everyday mundane worries, think like that guy? Personally, I'd just love to get hammered drunk with him and ask silly questions like, "How long does it take you to cum?" lol.

If life were fair, it would be a utopia, but reality isn't like that. Each of us has our own destiny. We've simply been educated to become a standardized collective. And as humans, we are destined for extinction. It's only natural order.

While living in this illusion, we're better off just enjoying life. My destiny seems to be a photographer, so I'll keep taking photos, making art however the hell I want, and hoping someone likes it enough to buy it. That's all there is to it. Isn't today's world ultimately just about buying and selling, after all???

All wars are just fights over real estate, like a game of Go. Between wars, we have to make things and sell them. The more you sell, the richer you get. People who sell ideas make the most money, because an idea is an abstract concept that people don't understand, yet it tricks them into believing they do. What do they do with all that money? Everyone just turns into an idiot~! Of course, some people might think what they do is for the advancement of humanity, but most never get to see the results of their labor firsthand. We all live in a hamster-wheel world of so-called life~ and death. The time given to us in this life is less than a hundred years each. Compared to cosmic time, it's so insignificant it isn't even a single dot.

Just silly thoughts in the early hours of the morning~.
